Giving Through The Offering Plate
Most folks in our congregation like to donate to our church by placing their donation into the offering plate. This method of giving dates back in the history of our church to when sacrificial gifts were placed on the altar.
When a gift is placed in the offering plate, it is dedicated by prayer to the work of God. This tends to be meaningful to some. This method of giving is also convenient as the giving person is there worshiping.
Bank "Bill Paying" Giving
Now days, most commercial banks provide electronic bill paying at no cost. This is quick and easy, and can be done as a one time gift or re-occurring gifts. When directed, the bank sends a check to the church. Some of the people in our congregation use this method. One benefit of this method is that the payment will still be made even if the giver is going to be gone or can't get to church.
This method is perhaps the most care-free and simplest way to make your donation. It can be set up to pay weekly, monthly or annually. It can also be easily changed at any time, and the bank keeps a record. There is no cost to the giver or the church. Ask your bank if they do this.
Giving By Mail
Some of the people in our congregation prefer to give through the mail, especially the folks who might not be attending church services regularly or who will be away for a while. If this is right for you, donations may be mailed to:
