Westminster Presbyterian Church has a long history of service to our surrounding community and the world.
Community Vacation Bible School
A week-long Christian Education summer program, we are able to reach nearly 60 children from nearby neighborhoods.
Have A Heart Have a Heart Website
Have A Heart Project, Inc. is a 501-C3 non-profit organization serving the needs of school age children and their families in Adams County School District 50. Our mission is to give students a better chance at a good education by providing for the basic needs of them and their families. All of our services are free. We provide food, clothing, school supplies, and English lessons. 303-427-6700
FISH Food Pantry is a human services agency, organized as a tax exempt organization under IRS Section 501(c)3. The food pantry is open at our church Monday-Friday from 3-3:30pm. We serve an area in Westminster from I-25 west to Sheridan and 52nd north to 144th. A photo ID and proof of residency is required.
Highland West and South Apartments
Highland West Senior Citizens high-rise was built in 1964 by the Wheat Ridge, Westminster, and Highland Park Presbyterian Churches as a mission project. In the summer of 1978 the churches developed a vision for the land to the south of Highland West Senior Citizens Apartments to extend their mission. 303-425-0197
We host a free community dinner every 3rd Thursday of the month. All are welcome.
Besides those missions listed above, there have been many causes and missions that have been supported by our church through the years. Many of them were for a short time, or with fund drives or special offerings.
Zimbabwe Mission Partnership
The Zimbabwe Mission Partnership (ZMP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization working to relieve the suffering of orphaned children in rural Zimbabwe, some 150 miles northeast of the capital city of Harare. The ZMP's all-volunteer organization works to develop and sustain the resources needed to deliver daily meals, clean water, clothing, medical care, education assistance and other much needed support for nearly 1,000 orphans and the surrounding community.
A few of those are: Church World Service Blanket program; Habitat for Humanity, Heifer International; Highlands Presbyterian Camp and Event Center; Building Bridges for Peace, various youth programs; and the Women's Bean Project.
